In late 2012 TP, through TP Iraq, secured a contract with Genel Energy in Northern Iraq to deliver wired and wireless voice and data services to connect rig and accommodation sites 1Km apart.

The project included the supply  of Cisco network infrastructure, VSAT service, a Polycom video conferencing system, supporting Dell servers and storage, a Checkpoint firewall, Tropos Wifi infrastructure, and a Systimax structured cabling solution.

It also includes an ongoing 8×5 on-site support contract.
